You were gonna say, it's just a tiny ass 250 square-feet room on the 5th floor of a 6-story college dorm overlooking the edge of crappy Columbia downtown. I know. I know. There's nothing worth bragging. I was happy about the size of the room when I first moved in in an evening. I knew this was a quarter larger than my old room, but I didn't see all the possibilities of fabulous arrangements I could do until I was here. And not until the next morning when I woke up and looked out of the window did I see our pretty badass view. There's not a building as tall as my view point in at least four blocks (see that square-ish building below in the left center...). I wanted to take tons of picture right away. But the Columbia weather had been at its best/worst in the last few days. Well, it's good that it's not over 100 degrees everyday. It's bad that it was cloudy/rainy all the time I had no chance to take any decent photos. The sun finally came out for a stroll round town today.

Yet the sad thing is, I tried for 15 minutes to open my window to take pictures. BUT IT WOULD NOT FREAKING OPEN. So now you are left with these window-filtered photos.

I don't know if it's noticeable or not in the photos above, but we can totally see the stadium head-on. I edited this photo a lot because I took this the other day and as I said, it was bad cloudy weather. I also had to zoom in a lot for the stadium to appear big enough to see. Thus the dirt on the window becomes really obvious too...

So there it is. My empire state of mind when I look out of my window every morning. :)
