Why did YSL change their name to Saint Laurent Paris?!!! It sounds so stupid. They just like degraded themselves. But I guess YSL has long been cast out of the very top couple of brands since the fall of their couture house. This collection is quite disappointing comparing to the last one. A bunch of generic ones that we've seen over and over. They look pretty. But not particularly groundbreaking or creative, imo. I think I can rely more on YSL's makeup than this.

Another disappointment for me was Giambattista Valli, especially after his epic couture show. I mean, I like some of the stuff. But not as much as I wanted. Better than the "Saint Laurent Paris" collection though. It's Giambattista after all!

Another big "ruffle" filled show! They are so adorable and are totally in. I also really like the mustard pants in the third row (with a character!) + the first top on the bottom row. The ruffled shoulder on that top in the last row is totally cool too.

To me, Stella McCartney is the perfect example of successful celebrity child. She's such a role model. Some of my favorite Stella McCartney looks from previous seasons:

Always classy and clean. This season's collection features these track suits reminding us of her work for the UK team at the London Olympics. I am also in love with the military-inspired ones. Such a perfect army green. The pop of color is also really really really amazing. All the shapes are perfect! On the last looks in the collection (like the green dress and the blue dress in the third row, and the last two patterned looks), there are these little pieces of fabric attached making it look fluffy and pleat-like.
